              PIGEONS


           Pigeons and doves included in the family Columbidae of the order Columbiformes, which include some 300 species of birds pekicau relatives. In general conversation, the term "virgin" and "pigeon" are interchangeable. In practice ornithologist, there is a tendency of "virgin" is used for smaller species and "pigeon" for large, but it is not consistently applied, and historically the common names for these birds have a lot of variation between the terms "virgin" and "doves."
